Episode 113: Board Game Bracket 2017 Part 2 – The Winner!

Part two of our annual board game bracket is here! Listen to learn which of the 64 games we selected for the bracket this year – all released in 2016 – will come out on top as the game that best represents its theme and does what is promised by the designer and publisher.

If you haven’t yet, listen back to our episode from two weeks ago in which we whittled the initial 64 down to 32 games. In this week’s episode, we’re also looking at some upcoming acquisition disorders, including discussion of some of what happened at GAMA this year, and our recent play throughs of Vinhos Second Edition and Fabled Fruit.

And if you haven’t yet, check out our guild on Board Game Geek, as well as our Facebook and Twitter pages where we ran a contest this year for the bracket. A lucky winner walked away with one of the games featured in the four regions. And don’t forget to subscribe and rate us on iTunes – your feedback means a ton to us!

  • Anthony lives and plays games in Philadelphia, PA. A lover of complex strategy, two-player war games, and area control, Anthony is always eager to try a new game, even if he's on rule-reading duty.
