Episode 134: If You Like Agricola, Try…

This week, Chris and Anthony look at one of the most successful euros of the last 10 years – Uwe Rosenberg’s Agricola – and discuss some games you might like if you also like this one.

To kick things off, we asked listeners what games they had purchased because they were worried about future availability with our question of the week.

Next up, we look at some of the upcoming games we’re excited about, including two new Uwe Rosenberg titles, Nusfjord and Indian Summer, releasing at Essen (or shortly after) this year, and ZiPang Portable, now on Kickstarter.

We then delve into a deep dive review of 878 Vikings and all of its expansion materials. The new game from Academy Games, and the first in the Birth of Europe series is a spin on the formula in 1775 Rebellion, one of our favorites.

Finally, we look at 6 games you might like if you also like Agricola, including some games with starkly different mechanics, but very similar feels.
