A question about kicking the habit; did you guys completely skip over Conan? This was a new company with a new overlord mechanic, a classic IP and quite a price point to navigate. Unless I missed it, I just can’t understand the selection process for inclusion. The spinning dice top? These have already been around for years. I can’t imagine anyone needs much analytical support here. I don’t want to come across as a “troll” here, but what determines What gets covered? (I sent this as an email from the website but never received a response.)

Hi Travis – some weeks coverage depends on what’s currently live on Kickstarter and what looks to be needed in the community. A game like Conan had such significant coverage already, it was pretty well discussed within the community. In this case, though, it was also partly because format was changing around the time that Kickstarter campaign launched – Kicking the Habit is now a short segment within the full BGA podcast each week instead of a standalone, so it limits coverage to some degree.

Of course, if there’s ever a game you want to hear more about, please do let us know. We regularly take requests and if the interest level if high for something or there are a lot of questions we will adjust our calendar accordingly.

    Thanks for listening!
