Episode 228 – Top Ten Dexterity Games

Congratulations to Amy, our Patreon contest winner from last week for guessing all 8 currencies shown in our mystery photo before anyone else (we had five people get them all!).

If you want to join the fun, become a Patreon backer for your chance to enter. Every backer is eligible to enter the contests, which run each week from Thursday until Monday at 8pm EDT when we record. https://www.patreon.com/bga for more information.

This week’s episode kicks off with our question of the week: Is there a game or series of games you’ve always avoided because it seemed too difficult to dive in to (either because of rules or cost/scope)?

For our Acquisition Disorders this week, Anthony looks at TINYforming Mars, a print and play microgame variant of a podcast-favorite, and Chris looks at the Die Macher Limited Edition now running on Kickstarter.

At the table this week, Anthony reviews Pax Pamir: Second Edition, the recent Kickstarter rerelease from Cole Wehrle, and Chris looks at the Lorenzo il Magnifico app, also recently delivered to Kickstarter backers. One of these delivers and the other…not so much. Find out which and by how much.

Finally, in our feature, Chris and Anthony run through their top 10 dexterity games.
