Enter the darkest realm of the gamer’s soul today and listen as we discuss games that push you and your gaming group to the limit. We’ll also be reviewing a handful of (admittedly much lighter) games including Blokus and Roll for It!

At the Table

This week, we bring three very different games to the table and discuss the types of experiences each of them has to offer. To start, we play Blokus at the Extra Life event, ensuring a nice, easy experience for three gamers at the end of a marathon session. We also pull out Roll For It! which we were able to get to the table multiple times over following the event, and Drew plays Hansa Teutonica, one meaty Euro.

Top Ten Games that Bring Out the Worst (and Ruin Friendships)

That’s what we’re talking about this week as we gather 10 such games and look at how the right combination of backstabbing mechanics and turncoat thematics can push you and your friends to the limit.
